Background
One day in my studio in San Diego California, I was going to start a new painting when I noticed the wall and the floor had accumulated a large amount of residual paint as a result of my painting on it for years.
The series of paintings that I am currently working on delve into that discovery. The goal is to portray the thinking, the chronology, the decision process of painting by the remaining residual paint that is left behind. Above all, it is a statement about art with a different perspective and its remaining residual effects .
"When a painting is finished, a new one has already begun. It will always remain".
